for my own amusement i wanted to compare
the plant on the left has spent the past 3 weeks under a 250 watt hps lamp, the plant on the right has spent the last 3 weeks under a 28 watt sunshine systems glowpanel 45 led panel (there are 2 40 watt cfl bulbs and 1 28 watt cfl bulb on each side, but the plant was not close at all to any of the cfl bulbs, it was placed directly underneath the led panel) both plants were taken as clones at the exact same time from the same mother, placed into the same medium, and fed the same thing, intervals of feeding may not be exactly the same as the plant under the hps lamp did require more watering than the plant under the led panel.
i am not a traditionally trained scientist, this was done for my own curiosity =)
