ace viet black x thai leaf variegation?

out of 6 vegetating ace viet black x thai plants, 1 of them has shown interesting signs in it's fan leaf

long flowering jamaican 400watt hps vs. lumigrow es 165 led

400 watt hps versus lumigrow es 165 led with these long flowering jamaicans

information on this jamaican strain, i was allowed to get clones of plants at a medical marijuana collective farm. one of the plants was a jamaican that was flowering and still had a month or so to go by the looks of it, this was outside at 35*n at around the middle of december! the grower said it was for him, his personal stash, he'd never try to grow it commercially like most of the plants they had around the farm, he referred to it as his champagne of herb. this plant can stretch, when i saw it the plant was much taller than me, it had to be at least 12' tall; out of 5 clones taken from this flowering mamma', only 1 made it, that was enough for me to grow out and then take more cuts, in fact the mother of these 2 cuttings has already been hanging out under the 400 watt hps lamp and is really kicking ass. this will be a long ride to those watching; here are our girls each in their new homes, don't feel bad about the small containers, they'll be transplanted in 1 week once their stretch starts to start.

here is the lumigrow es 165 led tent, do you see her down there in the little ben n' jerry's "half baked" ice cream container?

and here is our 400 watt hps girl, on the far right in the 16oz. beer cup, notice their mom to the bottom right in the orange container

and lastly here is their sister, this will become the new mom for future jamaican girls later on down the road

bagseed acapulco gold x purple kush cuttings, cinnamon haze, lanky jamaican

here is an f1 of bagseed acapulco gold x purple kush, the crap all over it is milk:water residue to stop mold, i took some cuttings of this one today

here is an mod cinnamon haze that i also took some cuttings from, this one is bushing and side branching a bit more than the others which are more stick like lanky, the pic was after cuttings were taken but the whole main stem had 4 more decent sized branches coming off of it before i took the cuttings

the cuttings are hanging out in low ph water for a few days, someone i trust recommended this technique so we'll wait a bit to see if we see root nubs forming or not, if this doesn't work out i will take more new cuttings in a few weeks, if it does work out then the 2 plants i took cuttings from will be popped into flower very very soon

check out this lanky jamaican i'm training, this strain is supposed to go 20 weeks flowering easy, maybe longer! wow can't wait to give it a try some day =)

here's some sprouts, the rest of the viet black x thai, 2 s og (we think it's 818), and 5 buzu x bubba

rearranged tents, hps back in effect, leds consolidated, lumigrow by itself

gracias mi hombre! i've setup the tent you've lent me!

let's have a look inside!

i've set the 400 watt hps back up again, let's see how it compares to the lumigrow es 165, here are a few plants to get us started, sorry none of them vegged longer, i don't want to wait around on this. we have a world of seeds columbian gold on the bottom left, next to that is a long flowering jamaican, above that in the green planter is a world of seeds thai, the blue planter to the right of that contains a little oaksterdam blue dream

i took the 2 sunshine systems led panels out of this area and sent them over to the main veg box, the lumigrow is on it's own now

lastly, the older acapulco gold was chopped today, she has been lightly pollinated with lowrdyer #2 pollen, most of the seeds are harvested already from preflowers, it's on the right. i chopped the og x island bud too, honestly neither looks too hot, both were fully flowered under the led with the lumigrow and 2 sunshine systems panels, i really hope the led can put out bigger buds and maybe i just am a newbie and don't yet know what i'm doing fully haha

og x island bud on the left, bagseed acapulco gold on the right

blue dream, thai, viet black x thai, cinnamon haze, jamaican, volunteers, reveged clones

oaksterdam nurseries blue dream vegetating, this cut is amazing at 10 weeks, definitely a keeper, intensely BLUE flavor and aroma up in your face, the effect is soooo nice and not too hazy jittery, relaxing yet awake and aware and ready for action, i will keep this going in my garden as long as the good lord permits me!

here's a real crappy shot of blue dream flowering under the lumigrow e165

this is og x island bud (f1), we are fairly certain the og is of the 818 variety, i am far from an og know it all so who knows for sure...the structure makes me think of lowryder #2, just has more calyxes haha

here's ko' chang wild thai from world of seeds, i feel it is awesome between 14~16 weeks, 16 is the best if everything goes well!

the plant in front is also the same world of seeds thai that was just recently stuck into the flowering box, this thai is not super mold resistant, the younger one pictured is getting a bit and has since been sprayed with a 1:9 milk:water solution. this thai is straight up sativa thai in effect, send you to outer space up in the place for sure

more thai vegetating

here are the 3 ace seeds vietnam black x thai that have been going underneath the haight solid state ppf-400 led panel

here's the 3 ace vietnam black x thai plants that have been going under the sunshine systems glowpanel 45 led panel for the same amount of time as the 3 pictured above

here is a jamaican plant, no idea what the breeder or seed bank is, a medical marijuana collective operator was kind enough to let me get a few cuts of some late flowering plants, revegetating them has been a challenge, out of a total of 30 or so cuts only 2 made it, i have successfully cloned the 2 that did survive, 1 kind being this jamaican and the other being a kind called the white

this revegetating clone is from a volunteer plant, no idea what it is, the taste is a tad minty, the effect is a bit kushy and mellow and chill, it is very vigorous in that it survived being transplanted several times, one of which was when our dog pulled it up from the ground roots and all and shook the crap out of which, it was a very short and bushy plant that sends wide side branches out, no need to top or train at all with it. 2 cuts were taken, 1 looks dead, this one is kicking ass

mod seeds cinnamon haze. this cinnamon haze was trained down early on and thus has many little bushy side branches, it will be easy to get clones of it before i send it off to flower, still hasn't shown sex yet though so we'll see after waiting a bit longer

here is another cinnamon haze, i just let it grow and didn't train it at all, there are hardly any side branches, if this turns out to be a girl i will try to train her sideways in order to induce side branching so that i might take clones before sending it off to flower

here is the runt cinnamon haze plant, i hope this one turns out to be a male, i am thinking of knocking him up against the petrolia headstash if it is, man this one looks like crap

dj short f13, out of 3 seeds i got 1 female

dj short true blueberry, this was sprayed down with the milk water solution shortly after the pic was taken, again...

world of seeds columbian gold

here's a world of seeds columbian gold flowering, this thing gets mold so easily! i sprayed the crap out of it with the milk water solution after this picture was taken, sad sad thing, i have seen this strain spit out male flowers here and there as well, if it didn't put me to sleep better than anything else i run i'd have kicked this strain out of my garden a long time ago, the taste and aroma is a hardcore catpiss gasoline combination, so much so that my wife gets pissed off and bummed out if i trim or smoke any of it inside

lastly here's a couple veg area shots

here's the flower area

a friend lent me a high output t5 lamp and a large-ish grow tent!

a friend is lending me this 4' high output t5 lamp, there are 2 red leaning bulbs and 2 blue leaning bulbs, i am still not sure what exactly i will do with this

he also lent me a nice grow tent, i am fairly certain it is large enough for me to consolidate both vegetating areas into this 1 tent, i'll find out a bit later today, that would free up one of the tents for flowering, i plan on setting up the 400 watt hps lamp again, either the lumigrow es165 is not that powerful or i just don't have the hang of using it yet, either way my yields suck underneath it right now so i plan on setting up the old fashioned way with traditional lighting, let's get some weight back up in here ya' know?

winter 2011 sour diesel drying

this small sour diesel plant was flowered outside in the end of winter/beginning of spring at about 34* north, it could have gone a bit longer but was beginning to show signs of revegetation thus it was decided to chop her down. there was 1 seed found on this plant, a preflower seed, i am 99% certain it is from lowryder #2 pollen. this seed has been planted by itself into a 5 gallon planter outside, i am leaving it outside to see if it will autoflower or not
