gifted mid flowering clones for christmas! jamaican, the white, bubba og

the caregiver said i could get some cuts of whatever i wanted


the only caveat is that they were all flowering, some had just started like the green crack and the bubba, some were much further along like the white and this weird one that gets very dark black ish, the jamaican had been flowering the longest, i am most excited about the jamaican actually, it is a very long flowering sativa, this one's mother was grown outdoors and is still not ready to chop yet even though it's almost the new year haha, i will have to have much patience with this one, here's a closeup


not sure the name of this one, but it gets super dark when flowering, i have seen them growing it a few times and just couldn't believe the color change

i was also gifted 2 maui plants, they are both from seed and haven't shown sex yet, both have a case of white flies, so they are going to hang out in quarantine and get sprayed down with spinosad spray

i don't have macro photo gear, so this is about as good as it gets, on the left is an amazing berry pheno that leans way towards it's afghan mother, the one on the right is not and is just decent smoke, man the one on the left is so amazing though

here is the 1st of the f13 to pop up, a patient i know was kind enough to gift 3 to me


here are 3 true blueberry sprouts, i was gifted these as well, we both planted some on the same night, kind of a project of sorts for us


so this is my clone/sprouts cabinet, powered by 3 26 watt cfls in 2700k and 6500k for now, it is on 24 hours a day

outdoor southern california winter plants

here are a couple small plants i'm trying outside right now, it's beautiful and bright in sunny southern california today, i'm at 34 degrees north, a lovely warm 85f, 1st is a mystery bagseed girl

lastly here is a purple spinach plant, this is the lone survivor from neighbor cats digging everything up, i dug everything up and replanted another furrow of the spinach, this one came up a day or 2 after and was outside the new furrow, a leftover from the cat destruction! now i am using chicken wire and the cats don't want to mess with the dirt haha! still waiting on the new batch of spinach i planted to start popping up

the lighting goes led panel, hps, led panel...i have plans to switch from 24 hours of lighting a day to 20/4 or 18/6


the plan will be to have the first led panel turn on first, an hour or 2 later the hps, an hour or 2 later the other led panel, they will all shut down in the opposite order...i am thinking, maybe it will cause the plants to bend towards the light as they do with the sun, i have been observing my small outdoor plants and see that they bend towards the east in the am, straight up around noon, and bending towards the west in the pm, i wonder if the plants like this and want to try to simulate it indoors, the change in lighting schedule will probably happen over a weekend and not a work night, since i'd like to be awake to observe it and make sure things are happening correctly and in the correct sequence

here is another outdoor plant, this one is a volunteer rescued from a potted potato plant that was once on my balcony before i moved, it has just started to show signs of flowering, it is a girl, it will be small but we'll let it keep on going anyways, this one is a survivor, my dog ripped it out of the ground several weeks ago, so happy it survived


here we have setup a separate sprouting/cloning area with some cfl lighting, we have 3 dj short f13 seeds planted, 3 dj short true blueberry seeds, 1 mmm's bagseed acapulco gold x purple kush, and the blue cup on the bottom right contains 2 poppy seeds
