more led hid comparing, blue satellite #2.2 lovely "freak" leafage, afghan x lowryder #2 small big pot comparison

i just love the amazing leaves that the spice of life blue satellite #2.2 sometimes shows

here's 3 of them, not all come out looking so awesome, this "freak" looking "mutant" "problem" plant is something that i actually like and want, when i see this it is a sign of something awesome to come from this plant, maybe i'm right and maybe i'm wrong, either way i think it's really cool and am thankful that i get to be a witness to this first hand

oooh wow! this is an og x island bud plant, none of them have shown this sort of behavior with the leaves, awesome! can't wait to see what this does when it gets bigger!

to compare, here is another og x island bud, the seeds are all f1, no cool freakiness with this plant but man it does look good in all of it's normalized goodness. THANKS AGAIN FOR THESE SEEDS DUDE!

here is some m.o.d. cinnamon haze, i'm so looking forward to trying this out, i don't mind waiting 10 weeks maybe up to 18 weeks at all for it to flower, it will be so worth...i think =)

just a shot of the hid veg area, a 250 watt hps is powering this

here we are again with our 250 watt hps to 28 watt led panel comparison, the strain is world of seeds columbian gold, the plant on the left has been under the 250 watt lamp and the plant on the right has been under the led panel

here we have 2 plants growing, both are f1 seeds from a mother afghan that was pollinated with a male lowryder #2. since these are f1 we know that the strain is not very stabilized so there may be genetic variation, disregarding this check out how much larger the plant in the large pot got, versus the one in the beer cup. since these will probably autoflower we don't have a lot of time for the tap root to shoot down and the vegging to happen, the first few weeks of growth for autoflower plants are crucial in determining how much yield you'll get in the end, these are both about the same age give or take a day or 2, the one in the big pot is obviously kicking ass on the one in the beer cup, i am so grateful to have more space to grow and learn with now

here's an afghan x lowryder #2 that was chopped a day ago, it was 116 days old

i am curious about autoflowering plants, opinions are meaningless to me once i have tried it myself. i am a fan of lowryder #2 and will keep on trying to make my own beans, this tiny sprout coming up is the first of the 5 lowryder #2 seeds i planted to begin to come up. i really really really hope i get at least 1 male out of the bunch, so far i've planted all of the afghan x lowryder #2 seeds i had and not one has been a male, there are some small ones not sexed yet so hopefully i get 1! having the afghan x lowryder #2 pollen, as well as having original lowyrder #2 pollen would be so handy, awesome building blocks for my experimentation...you know the thai will be mixed in some how some way eventually, maybe a blue satellite #2.2 as well, the thought of all the possibilities gets me so excited about this awesome hobby

here's the babies, the newest to pop up is a nepalese from the real seed company, critical plus from dinafem i think, and an acapulco gold x purple kush

and next to the babies under the led we have more vegging

this is an heirloom tomato plant of some sort, i'm seeing if i can get it started ahead of the season indoors, it will then go outside in spring and kick ass giving us tomatoes while it's younger sisters are just sprouting up from the dirt, lord willing...

i have a spot in the back that is becoming a compost pile, now we save all the trimmings and fan leaves and other assortables that would have once been tossed in the bin

i've started aerating the water i use, flexy airstones are really cool

that's all folks! see you in a week or so!
