i have an interest in unique plants, i have seen several that display a very odd extreme foxtail phenotype and i am very much curious about these
i will start off by bringing up quaze, sometimes referred to as quasar, barney's farm has seeds for sale that are being called "dr. grinspoon" after the late dr., rumors state that barney's refers to "dr. grinspoon" as "quaze 2.0", quaze himself states that dr. grinspoon is in fact not his quaze strain?! so who bloody knows! for $55.-- american one can order it and find out here:

here's the attitude seed shop description:
Sex : Feminized
Type : Sativa
Flowering : Photoperiod Genetics : Heirloom Sativa strain
Flowering Time : Long Outdoor Harvest : Mid November
Height : Tall THC Level : 25%
Characteristics : Grows tall and requires longer flowering time
Barneys Farm Dr Grinspoon is named in honor of our hero, the brilliant cannabis advocate, researcher and author Dr. Lester Grinspoon. It's genetics is a pure heirloom Sativa. The plant grows thin and tall, and needs a longer flowering time around 95-100 days. When mature, the colas look like compact, green and red-brown beads, loosely strung on thin stems with a dusting of THC crystals. The fragrance off the buds is of sumac and lemon and the smoke is light and tangy with citrus and tropical fruit aromas. Dr Grinspoon can stretch very tall indoors. You can harvest these cannabis seeds outdoors in Mid November. Dr. Grinspoon has a very high THC of 25% so it offers a strong, long-lasting, energetic and cerebral high. Old school Sativa of the highest order.
here are some pictures of quaze's quaze strain, apparently this is being sold in various shops in amsterdam and commanding a high price, from 15 - 17 pounds/gram
here is what quaze has to say about growing it out, this is copypasta'd from icmag mostly:

let her grow for 10 days then flower about depends how many seeds you want that this girly makes for you we did 14 to 15 and the seeds where ripe
after 8 to 9 weeks she makes this little yellow bananas inside the calyx
Look at this nice Candysticks almost no leafs and full of resin .shortly after quaze made the thread on icmag, esbe chimed in with pics of his mighty mite that displays a very similar characteristic:
yes its a beauty and its a female landrace sativa don`t ask me where its coming from because we grow this candy out of a seed .
and god nows for how long its being hiding .
she polinates herself but most landraces do the same its normal to servive in nature if there is no male around.
she is covered with resin sticky like honey the taste is amazing, smell like fresh lemon can`t explain you have to smoke yourself.

I had a very unique girl from a bag of DJ Shorts F-13 (the pics above) the F-13 was/is a prodject to pull some of DJ's Highland Thai's genes to the surface of his strains. just a thought when i saw your VERY nice girl. Maybe she desends from southeast asia just my two cents,
Grow for all the right reasons, Peace. GF

the Quaze buds looks bit similar to one of my La Nina (MrNiceSeedbank) as I mentioned over the Revival of the Ultimate Sativa thread
I had also culled a LN plant that looked very similar to your mighty mite
It had a very strong intoxicating unique smell , perhaps I should have let it finish but at the time had other better (more practical) plants that I decided to focus on
last but not least, here are some words from another user, indifferent, on the subject of quaze:

I was gifted a load of the Quaze last year, it's okay, but to me, it smokes just like a typical highland Mexican, and I suspect it is just a freak pheno of a highland Mexican. The taste is similar to the Oaxacan I have as is the high, so the reason i don't rate it is there are tons of plants with the same level of taste and high but which do grow proper buds and yield good. Most highland Mexicans yield big, so i just don't get the appeal of this Quaze, especially because it is a hermie and it's male flowers ain't sterile.
Truly, honestly, Quaze just shows how long it is since proper sativas were available in Amsterdam, so people have forgotten what they are like. There is nothing at all extraordinary about the Quaze high, it's good but so are a lot of proper sativas.
This is Dr Grinspoon from Barneys Farm,.
