late april 2011 outdoor update

here's a little shot of the plot

lowryder #2 plants

revegetating world of seeds wild thai

revegetating l.a. confidential

afghan x lowryder #2 f1 revegetating in the front, sour diesel x lowryder #2 f1 in the back, a non ganja blueberry plant behind that

lumigrow es 165 led grown world of seeds wild thai and a world of seeds columbian gold

here is a world of seeds columbian gold girl, she has been flowering under the led, i was bad with my record keeping and am not quite sure how long this has been flowering but it is not done yet, i'm guessing 3~4 more weeks

here is a world of seeds wild thai girl, again i was bad with record keeping on this one and didn't note the date it was stuck in here, guessing another 6~8 weeks till i chop her, generally i run this thai for 16ish weeks

here is a thai i really messed up, poor thing, it was pollinated with some lowryder #2 pollen, it has been flowering for 101 days today, another 2 1/2 weeks to go, poor things, i really messed up all of the first led plants with low temperatures, too much nutes, some got bad mold as well, ya' live and ya' learn, the plants above are looking a lot better as i get things dialed in moreso

here is the half empty lumigrow flower box, nothing is quite big enough for me to move in here yet, i'm trying to be patient and let my plants vegetate for much longer in order to get better yields during flower, the last batches were all so small, partly because i only let them vegetate for a week or so after cloning lol, oooops

bubbling mexican bat guano tea

on the advice of some folks far more experienced than i am, i purchased some mexican bat guano to make tea with

i placed a few pinches into this gallon container which i placed into another container in order to contain any spillage, i hooked up the air pump to an airstone and dropped it in, i had no idea it would froth up and get bubbly like this, wow! news to me

this is the kind of guano i purchased

i've made tea before in a similar fashion with budswel, there was a tiny bit of bubbling but nothing at all like this mexican bat guano!

viet black moved into flower, mazar i sharif sprout

the ace viet black x thai are getting too big for me to keep in their little cups, however i don't want to transplant till i know the sex, i'm tossing them into flower to hopefully force them to show sex soon, fortunately 1 out of the 6 did show me, she will get transplanted tomorrow

here is a tiny mazar-i-sharif sprouting, she is the first one to breach the surface of the soil!

smokefrogg's 2011 outdoor reveging mite filled fun

here are a couple small tops of plants that are revegetating, the dark one is la confidential, the other pieces are from a wild thai

sour diesel x lowryder #2 f1

lowryder #2 seed run, that stalk coming out of this planter and the one above is sugar cane! i planted sugar cane in each of these planters several months ago, i assumed wrongly that it must not have taken, all of a sudden we have sugar cane growing in the midst, i should probably transplant all of these

hard to see with the foliage behind these ladies, to the left is a revegetating wild thai, next to that in the small blue beer cup is a mod cinnamon haze that is a tiny dwarf, rather than kill the poor thing i decided to toss it outside to see what will become of it, to the right of that in the ben n' jerry's ice cream pint container is an afghan x purple kush f1 that i have a few clones of, why not put one outside in spring time right? the dwarf haze and the afghan x purple kush will get transplanted soon to more spacious accomodations

here is an afghan x lowryder f1, the mites just LOVE this one! and the ladybugs that are everywhere just seem to dislike this plant altogether, it is very much revegetating (i guess that means she's not going to autoflower, hmmm), if the ladybugs don't kick in soon this plant will start getting doused daily with spinosad!

here is an la confidential that the mites don't seem too interested in, she is revegetating too, unfortunately her sibling died, she is the only remaining one i have, the top that i took smells funky and hardcore afghan like, can't wait till that tiny reveging bud top is done dring *harsh but yum*

og x island bud and sour diesel plants outside

og x island bud, one that's flowering and one that's not

here's the sour diesel, this clone was brought to these collective farm folks from me several months ago, hardly any of the clones made it, this one seems to be doing just fine, glad it's alive as the 1 i have left is infested with mites and may very well die, it's a great sour diesel so i'd be bummed if we 100% lost the genetics, thank you collective farm folks for keeping her going!
