beer cup challenge plant #1, more sprouts

here's the first dry contestant of the 16oz. beer cup grow challenge, this plant yielded a massive 2.2 grams when dry! it is afghan x lowryder #2, it has this fruit loop ish jolly rancher ish berry taste that it's mother the afghan had, this plant was much shorter than it's sisters of the same lineage, it is also a lot less dense which is why it dried so much quicker, it's sister which is dried and hanging is going to need at least a couple more days of drying.

happy full moon to all, here are my 3 beer cup challenge girls, they are all afghan x lowryder #2, 97 days old, today i chopped 2, will chop another in a week most likely


looks like i may have successfully pollinated this one, i dusted it with pollen from a pure lowryder #2 strain, i am trying to create seeds that have that autoflower trait locked in


this is pretty crystally looking, these plants didn't want to begin to show any signs of trichomes until about 40 days into it, i blame the ruderalis in the lowryder #2 genes, thc isn't everything and i dig lowryder #2, can't wait to taste test!




these 2 poor bonzai beer cup plants got chopped today, they look pretty crappy =\ yes you can tell i am still attempting towards my green thumb. the left is a blue dream that was 75 days into flowering, on the right is the thai i have been running at 126 days flowering, wow! imho the thai could've gone longer still! this is the longest i've run it so far


and here is my beautiful most recent thai, this is the same one i've been running, world of seeds ko' chang wild thai. the first run was amazing stuff, problem was it got super hot so it was incredibly sparse, these buds already are much denser than any of the thai plants i've run so far! this is at 44 days flowering


here's the flower cabinet, thai, petrolia headstash, afghan x lowryder #2, a mystery og, sour diesel, blue dream, bagseed acapulco gold. we are running a 400 watt hps up top, and 2 sunshine systems glowpanel 45 led panels on the side for supplemental lighting, the plants are loving the led lamps blasting onto their sides! all 3 lights are hung independently, so i can raise and lower and reposition each of them at will

here's the other veg area, 1 sunshine systems glow panel 45, 2 40 watt cfls 1 on each side. you can see a tray below, i have planted 32 seeds, we need to do some seed runs and since i have space now, we need to kick things into high gear, here is what i have planted: 6 mod cinnamon haze, 6 sol blue satellite #2.2, 6 afghan x lowryder #2 f1, 6 og x island bud f1, 5 nepalese, 1 bagseed mendo haze, 1 acapulco gold x purple kush f1, 1 random seed from a caregiver that was mixed in a pile of kief? weird huh? ...re the afghan x lowryder #2, i have planted several of these and absolutely no males, nothing special was done to these to feminize or anything, so hopefully i get at least 1 male with this run...it's a little bit cold in this section, mid 70's, i think i am going to move this tray into the cabinet in this closet as it's generally 83ish in there

here are some of the beer cup challenge afghan x lowryder #2 plants, all about 91~92 days old, this things just keep on going and going, i want them to finish hahaha! the good part is it appears that i have succesfully pollinated a couple! i dusted them with pollen from a male lowryder #2, the goal is to lock in the auto flower trait, these seeds were from a high yielding and tasty strong phat ass afghan mother dusted with lowryder #2 pollen so they are f1, the pollen is from the orginal lowryder #2 father, so i'm back crossing then right? would that make them f2? yes i need to learn about this stuff so i know wtf i'm talking about

old cabinet back in use, power turned off, cultivating the backyard

i re setup the old flower cabinet, using the 250 watt in there for veg in addition to the other area with the led and cfls, we'll see how the led compares to the hps

the power company made a mistake and cut our power off, it won't be back on till monday, so i've put them all by the window to at least get a little bit of light, hopefully this doesn't cause too many issues


i began a very long process of cultivating the back yard today. it is amazing how many large rocks, chunks of concrete, metal scraps, plastic pieces, etc. etc. i found back here! i only did a 4x4~ish area, got all the junk i could out and amended with a bag of fox farms ocean forest. i am planting 1 row of lettuce and 1 row of carrots, ganja will come much later here, we need to grow some brush and cover so neighbors don't rip me off first
