ladybugs and fabric planters

today i went to osh and purchased ladybugs

i tried to release just a few inside, the true blueberry that is flowering has a couple tiny little infected mite spots! i am so scared of spraying anything now after messing up flowering plants with super strong spinosad before, so i released some inside! i tried to only release a few, but then they started moving into the crevice of the lid and i didn't want to smash them, so i ran outside with the rest of the ladybugs in their container and just opened it up and let them out, usually i'll wait till the sun is going down as they don't seem to scatter too much then

i bought some nice fresh brewed compost tea for cheap from a hydro shop today, just mixed it up with a bunch of water in a 5 gallon bucket and tossed an airstone in, i'll be feeding in a few hours, hope everyone likes it and it's not too strong!

i got some more root trapper planters, my main goal is to move 3 pinot noir grape plants into them as well as a flowering maple, of course i got a few extra to move some of the smaller plants into ;) so far every plant i have moved into a smart pot, or root trapper pot, has just loved it and had an explosion of growth!

mid may 2011 outdoor at 34 north, some reveg, some males, fun fun fun fun

here is our revegetating la confidential, check out all the green reveg growth!

here's the plot that is going to get blasted by lowryder #2 pollen, since it's not flower time anymore, it's all good, by the time they are full flowering in many months the lowryders will be gone, so i'll have an early seed harvest, then later a non seeded harvest

here is a sour diesel x lowryder #2 f1, the small cup has a clone of a special volunteer plant called balco since it is the lone survivor from my old apartment balcony

here is a clone of the bagseed acapulco gold i dig so much, when done right it's one of the creamiest herbs i have ever had the pleasure to partake of

this is a beautiful dj short true blueberry, thank you again mr. that gifted the seed to me! i got 3 seeds, 2 were females, and 1 male, i wanted to see how one of the females would like it outside, it's been so nice out, she is much larger than her sister of the same age which is confined inside

hiding out under this mango tree is a m.o.d. cinnamon haze

hanging out right under a bunch of lowryder #2 males is a lovely revegetating afghan x lowryder #2 f1 girl

here is another clone of our balcony volunteer, not looking too happy...

look at all those sacks, go lowryder #2 go! 1 out of all of them was a female, see her at the bottom all tiny? next to her in an ice cream pint is a clone of an acapulco gold x purple kush f1

some people i know got paranoid and chopped some plants too early, here's one that they gave me for cooking

and here's another

last but not least is an oaksterdam blue dream that got chopped a week or so too early, the borg were making a come back on here, just too late in the game to spray or wait it out, c'est la vie!

world of seeds thai indoors and outdoors

here's an outdoor one revegetating

here's one inside vegetating in it's orange square container

here's one flowering under a lumigrow es 165 led panel, almost 11 weeks here

pardon the bright orange hps glow, here's one about 9 1/2 weeks into flowering under the hps

vietnam black x thai girls, lol i thought 1 was a guy nope just seeded preflower!

i thought this one was a guy, turns out it just had pollenated preflowers haha, it spent a couple days in the male closet, so i'm sure it'll spit out all kinds of seeds...ooops!

here are her sisters, the 2 lanky ones in front

here's 1 more sister

the 3 volunteer plants i found walking the dog

they are looking pretty alright, i think the 1 in the back might be a male

tortured jamaicans

our hps flowered jamaican has spider mites, poor girl, she is in quarantine for a few days now

here is her led flowering sister, please note that i have stopped feeding these girls, it's evident i fed them all too much, they really don't dig it, i'm backing off on that now

here is their sister, the new mom
