smokefrogg 81 day thai, 7 days into reveg of s og attempt, p h.stash wants lots of nutes

flower room update! thai is 81 days flowering now

let's turn the leds off for the rest of the pics here

sourdiesel @ 38 days flowering

bagseed acapulco gold @ 38 days flowering

i know now that petrolia headstash needs more nutrients than the others =\ 53 days flowering here

thai @ 81 days flowering, i've taken some snippets here and there already and man they've been awesome, a slight soapiness in the taste, the effect lasts quite awhile for me...this world of seeds thai had a growth spurt around week 12 ish the first time i grew it, i'm hoping it'll do that again here, if so then i'll let it go quite awhile longer

spice of life blue satellite #2.2 @ 36 days flowering

the thai @ 25 days flowering

here's the 250 watt veg room

some critical + (plus) very tiny for 15 days since sprouted

the afghan x lowryder #2 i planted into the 1.75 gallon pot to compare to the same seed planted in a beer cup, needless to say this one is huge compared to the other...i wound up transplanting the other to a 1 gallon pot, it is now outside, hope it survives!

we're going into the led and cfl veg area now

that skinny stick in the middle is the s og reveg attempt, it's bits of plant matter don't look dead yet so that's a good sign, it is day 7 of the reveg.

there is another led panel on the way, there are a few different setups i am entertaining, i'm actually fascinated with setups that try to mimic the sign, by having 3 lights in a row, the first fires off 1 hour before the middle light, after they're both on for another hour, then the 3rd light fires up, the lights will shutdown in a reverse sequence from the left light to the right most light, this is a feeble attempt to mimic the sun moving slowly across the sky, haha

i think this s og x island bud is showing it's preflowers as to be a male, i have it isolated in a different area for now till the nads develop more and i'm certain, at that point i'll have an excuse to build a male isolation chamber =)

lastly here is a nepali from "the real seeds" or something or other seed bank, out of 5 only this one sprouted, but it's been like this for days, wow according to my records this plant is 16 days old =\ i gave it some more water, if it doesn't pick up by next weekend it's out, next weekend seems like it's going to end up as clone weekend so i need to reclaim the space for clones, plus the led will be here, so much to do! =) have fun gardening everyone!

smokefrogg's veg areas and og reveg attempt

hps veg area

led and cfl veg area

strains we're running in the veg areas are, critical plus (dinafem i think), cinnamon haze (mist of destruction), blue satellite #2.2 (spice of life), s og, blue dream (oaksterdam), thai (world of seeds), sour diesel, acapulco gold (bagseed), columbian gold (world of seeds), petrolia headstash, afghan x lowryder #2, lowryder #2 (joint doctor)

here's the s og reveg project, she was popped in here today, i chopped the top and a bunch of the buds, left the few leaves that were left, i placed a small dab on honey on each of the chopped pieces to seal it off, broke up the rootball a bit and placed it into a 1 gallon pot from the 16 oz. beer cup it had been in there, medium is coco coir, safeway compost, chunky perlite, and fox farms ocean forest, she was fed with a medium dosage of fish emulsion, all previous reveg attempts have failed, maybe this super finicky but beautiful og will be my first reveg to make it! go girl go! you can do it!! =)

beer cup bonzai harvest

these are all leftovers from the old place where we had a mini grow with beer cup and saporro can bonzais

here are some pieces from the s og, i didn't chop the whole thing because i am going to attempt a reveg

from left to right, world of seeds columbian gold, oaksterdam blue dream, mmm afghan x lowryder #2, and s og on the far right

p.s. if you're gonna' come in here and tell me i need to use bigger planters, yes you are right and i am aware that the yield suffers from the way i've been doing it. i was growing in a tiny space and was doing several different strains and purposefully kept things very small, since relocating everything new is getting much larger planters than beer cups and sapporo cans.

og x island bud weird leafe shape

interesting...

here's a younger one that is showing something similar

male part in the middle of a bud on my c. gold?

60 days flowering today, world of seeds columbian gold, i see these tiny peni or whatever on 1 bud so far, wanted to hold out a bit longer but seriously considering chopping, or maybe chopping just the 1 peni bud, will smoke on it and decide, pics, look in the very middle

coco coir expansion in a container that is too small

oops

weird leafage og @ 92 days flowering

if i give it nutes it gets burned so easily, the lightening of the leaves i thought meant it wanted nitrogen, nope, this is the lone survivor out of 4

...i am so going to attempt a reveg of her

more led hid comparing, blue satellite #2.2 lovely "freak" leafage, afghan x lowryder #2 small big pot comparison

i just love the amazing leaves that the spice of life blue satellite #2.2 sometimes shows

here's 3 of them, not all come out looking so awesome, this "freak" looking "mutant" "problem" plant is something that i actually like and want, when i see this it is a sign of something awesome to come from this plant, maybe i'm right and maybe i'm wrong, either way i think it's really cool and am thankful that i get to be a witness to this first hand

oooh wow! this is an og x island bud plant, none of them have shown this sort of behavior with the leaves, awesome! can't wait to see what this does when it gets bigger!

to compare, here is another og x island bud, the seeds are all f1, no cool freakiness with this plant but man it does look good in all of it's normalized goodness. THANKS AGAIN FOR THESE SEEDS DUDE!

here is some m.o.d. cinnamon haze, i'm so looking forward to trying this out, i don't mind waiting 10 weeks maybe up to 18 weeks at all for it to flower, it will be so worth...i think =)

just a shot of the hid veg area, a 250 watt hps is powering this

here we are again with our 250 watt hps to 28 watt led panel comparison, the strain is world of seeds columbian gold, the plant on the left has been under the 250 watt lamp and the plant on the right has been under the led panel

here we have 2 plants growing, both are f1 seeds from a mother afghan that was pollinated with a male lowryder #2. since these are f1 we know that the strain is not very stabilized so there may be genetic variation, disregarding this check out how much larger the plant in the large pot got, versus the one in the beer cup. since these will probably autoflower we don't have a lot of time for the tap root to shoot down and the vegging to happen, the first few weeks of growth for autoflower plants are crucial in determining how much yield you'll get in the end, these are both about the same age give or take a day or 2, the one in the big pot is obviously kicking ass on the one in the beer cup, i am so grateful to have more space to grow and learn with now

here's an afghan x lowryder #2 that was chopped a day ago, it was 116 days old

i am curious about autoflowering plants, opinions are meaningless to me once i have tried it myself. i am a fan of lowryder #2 and will keep on trying to make my own beans, this tiny sprout coming up is the first of the 5 lowryder #2 seeds i planted to begin to come up. i really really really hope i get at least 1 male out of the bunch, so far i've planted all of the afghan x lowryder #2 seeds i had and not one has been a male, there are some small ones not sexed yet so hopefully i get 1! having the afghan x lowryder #2 pollen, as well as having original lowyrder #2 pollen would be so handy, awesome building blocks for my experimentation...you know the thai will be mixed in some how some way eventually, maybe a blue satellite #2.2 as well, the thought of all the possibilities gets me so excited about this awesome hobby

here's the babies, the newest to pop up is a nepalese from the real seed company, critical plus from dinafem i think, and an acapulco gold x purple kush

and next to the babies under the led we have more vegging

this is an heirloom tomato plant of some sort, i'm seeing if i can get it started ahead of the season indoors, it will then go outside in spring and kick ass giving us tomatoes while it's younger sisters are just sprouting up from the dirt, lord willing...

i have a spot in the back that is becoming a compost pile, now we save all the trimmings and fan leaves and other assortables that would have once been tossed in the bin

i've started aerating the water i use, flexy airstones are really cool

that's all folks! see you in a week or so!
